Gloria Laryea is a Christian and a strong believer of God, His infinite mercy and grace toward men, and also an advocate for the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms in settling disputes for stronger and harmonious societies.
Ms. Laryea holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, (GIMPA),
A Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB), also from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, GIMPA)
A Master of Laws Degree (LLM) in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), from the University of Ghana, Legon and currently, a Doctoral Student, Law at the University of South Africa-UNISA
A secretary to the board sub-committees of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, an adhoc Legal Team member, that helps settle issues between employers and employees. An ADR Practitioner in Court Connected ADR of Judicial Service of Ghana, Labour Commission of Ghana, GLO Mediation Network.
A founding member and current President of Corporate Ladies Association of Ghana, The Immediate Past President, GBC Ladies Association and a Welfare Executive Member in church; ACI, Lay Minister of the Gospel, A full member of Frimpong Manso Institute (FMI), Gender, Women & Youth Desk
Ms. Laryea believes that no individual is repository of wisdom and therefore a team player, Active Listener, Innovative and committed to duties.
Have passion for bringing women and society together through educative, informative and entertaining programs such as quizzes and debates on topical issues, lectures, workshops, health programs, cooking competitions among corporate women associations.
Offers special training for institutions, religious bodies, women in leadership, Communities, Individuals, and sometimes, free mediations and counselling sessions as part of her contribution to society.
With all the above achievements and experiences gathered over the years, Ms. Laryea does not rest on her oars, but continue to strive for excellence, and make meaningful contributions to the development and growth in her institution and society at large.
She is determinate and always willing to gain new experiences and move beyond her current status.
