Dr. Prince Kofi Kludjeson is the Executive Chairman and President of Kludjeson International Limited (KIL), a holding company for the following subsidiaries: GIHOC Electronics, which manufactures Akasanoma Electronics, CELLTEL Network Limited, the first and wholly Ghanaian owned mobile phone network company, which provides mobile cellular telephone services, data and internet connectivity services, and smart cities solutions, ALLTEL Limited that develops technological devices such as tablet PCs known as KPad and smart phones. Also, Kludjeson Institute of Technology (KIT) trains and equip people in the effective and efficient use of technologies and associate tools.
Dr. Kludjeson, was educated in the United States of America. He is a well-known Ghanaian business magnate and industrialist who has been lauded for his pioneering efforts in, indigenous entrepreneurship and private sector development. He is looked up to as the vanguard of integration between Ghana and the global community as the world consolidates on Information Technology.
He has over forty (40) years of experience in the information technology and telecommunications industries, much of which he acquired during his extensive travels, innovative and creative leadership in leading major multinational companies into Africa.
He is currently the “Africa lead” for an international consortium led by Cisco International and several other prominent technological firms to innovate and transform Africa with Smart Cities Technology in accordance with the African Continental Trace Agreement on Digitalization Protocols.
Dr. Kludjeson from humble beginnings, starting with just twelve (12) pocket calculators; through determination, hard work and visionary skills built a successful business earning him several recognitions and awards. This included the “Arch of Europe Gold Star Award” by the prestigious Business Initiative Directions (BID) in France for its immeasurable contributions to the business world with high standing and professionalism.
Again, the Global Centre for Transformational Leadership, Member Association of Independent Christian University College of Missouri USA conferred a doctoral degree and African Prize for Transformational Leadership on Dr. Prince Kofi Kludjeson.
His involvement in several social community activities, entrepreneurial skills and drive has contributed to serving on some boards such as the Executive member of National Council of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), Chairman of Ghana Association of Mobile Network Operations, Member of Board of Trustees of National Science and Technology Foundation among others.
Dr. Kludjeson has also delivered several leadership lectures as well as being a resource person at many seminars, workshops and conferences across the globe. Amongst such speaking engagements was in 2014, when as a lead speaker at the Harvard Law School Conference in Cambridge Massachusetts spoke on Global Technological Transformation.
