Afia Nyarko Boakye is a distinguished Senior Lecturer in Ghana Communication Technology University, with speciality in Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship. She holds a PhD in Business Administration from Open University Malaysia (OUM). She is a tireless advocate for women’s empowerment and a dedicated mentor for the youth. Beyond the confines of lecture halls and research labs, she is a prominent academic committed to advancing knowledge through joining Professional Associations related to her field and becoming an active member of these organizations.
She is committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment where students are encouraged to critically engage with contemporary HR issues to develop and deepen their expertise for success.
Dr. Boakye passionately collaborates with experts in her field through university events, guest lectures, and professional workshops. Her publications, delve into the critical realms of human resource planning, organizational behaviour, leadership dynamics, and the pressing issues of our time, such as graduate employability, environmental sustainability and gender. Notably, she is currently spearheading a ground breaking research on the intersection of green environments and sustainable human resource practices, shedding light on innovative approaches to organizational behaviour in an era marked by environmental consciousness.
